Love the build up of anticipation and intrigue, Matt!

What a great idea to let the reader write their own ending. I think the two nefarious guys on the train were Soviet spies following the young woman...a student at the university. She's unwittingly come into possession of a thumb drive (currently in her book bag) with government secrets that Putin's guys want to get a hold of. But, luckily Matt gets to her before the thugs and whisks her off to safety!

Can't wait to read the next one!

Thanks for sharing this story, Matt. It was intense! I liked some of the little details like "glasses guy" and "backpack guy" because it's exactly how someone would describe another person in a play-by-play account of what happened. I can't help but feel like the two guys were up to no good and that somehow the woman was linked to them. Great job! Please let me know if you decide to continue this one.

Thanks for the mention, Matthew. I loved the story. Wish it has have continued in fact! Which station was that photo? It looks like one of the Hammersmith and City, or Circle Line, like Farringdon

Glad you liked the story. I might continue the story later. It seems you're not the only one that thought I should have kept going.

It says the photo was from Sloane Sq Station of London Tube, beautiful station in a beautiful neighborhood. Here is the direct link: https://unsplash.com/photos/PHyF2mCMei0

Do you know this one/Have you been thru this one?

Yes. It's a very posh area. It used to be full of yuppies who would say Yar instead of Yes, and gave rise to the term Sloane Ranger: https://www.townandcountrymag.com/society/money-and-power/a10356763/sloane-ranger-handbook-princess-diana/

Thanks Paul! Oh yes, there will be more. When I first started writing, that's what I wrote the most, except no one saw them. Then, I put it on the back burner. But I love coming up with stories and writing them. 😀
