I used to get turned around easily when I would come out of a store in a mall. For some reason I had to stop and look at the rest of the stores around me to remember which direction I was going. My ex would always tease me about that.
I know how you feel. That has happened to me too in the past. Also at the mall, it would be hard to remember where the car was parked too. There were 10 exits and you had to remember what store or entrance you came in at.
Some people don't realize that laughing at another's misstep is insensitive. I, too get confused in buildings where I've never been before (and sometimes in those that are familiar!)
Thanks so much for linking to me, Matt! What a great story of getting lost! People I talk to are often surprised at how lost I get inside buildings rather than just in the world outside - busy places are so disorientating, and I find myself lost on my way back from the 'ladies' back to my table in a restaurant way more often than I care to admit! Thanks for a great read - which I read with a wry smile!

Yes exactly.

You're welcome! Always willing to help another person out. Being in unfamiliar or even places you haven't been in awhile can discombobulate you.
