You’re receiving this newsletter because you signed up for Writer’s Notebook. This is a post from my Fiction LaunchPad newsletter. Keep watch for my non-fiction writing and Abstract Art. You can always adjust what newsletters you receive by going to the Manage subscription on your profile page while on my Substack. But I hope you stick with all three. You’ll enjoy it here.
Where was Melanie? They had just moved here a few months ago. She didn’t know the area. It wasn’t like her to leave home without telling anyone. Her parents didn’t know her friends. Who could they call? Where does a fifteen-year old go? The police were on scene. This was serious now. They found her diary under the bed. It had a lock on it. Her Mother had given it to her for her birthday. Now the mystery deepened. They broke into the diary. Once they looked inside, they were shocked at what they saw. She was in grave danger.

I hope you liked this small snippet. Regular work has kept me busy. I’m on my day off today, so I’m hard at work on more fiction. It seems like you never have enough time to do everything you need to do. I promise I’ll have some longer fiction coming up. I love coming up with different stories.
Next week is a special newsletter. Stay tuned to learn how long I’ve been at these newsletters.
Don’t forget, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to DM me or post in the comments section.
Make sure you hit that “like” button too.
Until next time, happy reading!

It’s crazy, Matt…even after retiring I can’t seem to fit it all in. Of course, I took on Substack, volunteering, art projects, babysitting, and more. I might have to slow things down a bit. 🤣
A fun (scary) little read Matthew. Thanks so much.
