While on my weekly trip to Walmart, I noticed something unusual in the median as I was leaving. It was a red shoe. It was a woman’s left shoe. It was one of those mesh type shoes. Someone was without a shoe. Did they know they didn’t have that shoe? Probably once they went to put it on. Or was there a nefarious reason that shoe was there? Was a woman standing there at night begging for money? If so, was she abducted? Did anyone at the gas station on the corner witness anything? Was Starbucks open and did anyone see anything? Maybe the cameras caught something. Maybe the shoe fell out of a car. Maybe it was thrown out. Maybe there was a domestic incident and a male threw the shoe out the window of the car. Does anyone know what happened?
I guess only the shoe could tell us. She’s the only “sole” survivor.
