As you’re probably aware, I didn’t get my newsletter out last week. I have been soooo busy. Between work, writing a few stories that are still in the works for my newsletter, doing some more artwork, and trying to find some time to sleep, it has been hectic.
The other day I only got five hours sleep and I still had to work nine hours.
But I saw this little nugget I had on my “ideas” list.
This is a short one that I thought I could pull off for you. It will give you a little laugh.
Enjoy!
When I was living in the house, I had an incident that I didn’t expect.
The house had three bedrooms. They were very close together. My Mom’s bedroom was at the end of the hall. My bedroom was next to hers to the left. The third bedroom that I used for a home office was straight across from my bedroom. My door and the office door were a match. We lined up perfectly.
I never closed the office door.
For some reason, this one time I did. I don’t remember why.
I needed something in the office and I started running down the hallway and around the corner into the office. I forgot that the door was closed. I hit the door running at full speed. BOOM!!!!
I fell to the ground in pain.
My head and whole body hit the door with such force that my Mom shouted, “What was that?!”
I said, “I ran into the door. I forgot it was closed.”
I’m sure she said something like “be careful”.
Conclusion
It wasn’t funny but I can laugh about it today.
Always make sure the door is open if you’re going to be running toward a door. Or for that matter, don’t run into an area that you can’t see.
By the way, I made the Christmas graphic in honor of the holiday season.
Until next time, happy reading!
