This is the second installment of my abstract paintings. If you remember, there wasn’t enough room to show everything in Part 1.
Well enough of this small talk, let’s get on with the show!
Welcome to the October 2024 (Part 2) – Abstract Art newsletter. The paintings in this issue were done in September.
All paintings are painted on all sides (top, left, right and bottom).
September 2024
Beds, Books & Coffee, 16 inches x 20 inches (acrylic on canvas)
This has an interesting flair about it. What I mean is the name. It’s actually a play on another name. Notice the letters for each word. They are B, B, C. For those of you still puzzled, this is the BBC Quay House building (also known as the British Broadcasting Corporation) in the upper left. The location is in Salford, UK. You’ll also see a park, various businesses (hotel, bookstore, coffee), and a university.
All Aboard!, 16 inches by 20 inches (acrylic on canvas)
Everyone ready to board the train? Step up to the platform and pick your train. Welcome to Zurich, Switzerland and the Zurich HB! Taking you to all the destinations you’ve always wanted to go. This transit station will get you there.
Penguins Rock, 16 inches x 20 inches (acrylic on canvas)
We’re back in Edinburgh, UK at Penguins Rock. I like animals and this is an animal park. You’ll see the layout of the park and some eateries. I also threw in some other stuff too. There’s people wandering the park. There are a few lakes and a bridge.
Conclusion
I hope you like the paintings portrayed in Part 2.
I haven’t been able to do a lot of paintings this month. I’ve only finished one. So I may skip the abstract art newsletter for November, which means writing will come back! Yeah!!!! Everyone get excited.
My off days are being consumed with appointments, so I’ll have to think up something I can post that won’t take too much time. Maybe I’ll throw in some small snippets of 100 word writings. Or maybe I should continue the fiction story I was working on. We’ll see.
